    A: Acne happens when hair follicles get clogged with oil and dead skin, which leads to pimples, blackheads, whiteheads, or cysts on the face, neck, back, chest, and shoulders. Hormonal changes, medications, diet, and stress can make it worse.
  • What customized medications do you prescribe?
    ​​Compounded Prescription Examples: ​ Salicylic Acid, Sulfacetamide, & Sulfur Cleanser Tretinoin, Niacinamide, & Hyaluronic Acid Cream Clindamycin, Niacinamide, Spironolactone, & Tretinoin Gel Various Dapsone, Adapaline, or Tazarotene formulations **Ingredient strengths are customized to your condition
  • Do you prescribe to regular retail pharmacies?
    A: You have the option of choosing a general acne prescription that you can pickup at your specified retail pharmacy or a customized prescription that is mailed to you from a specialized compounded pharmacy.
  • Can I use health insurance to purchase my prescription?
    Health insurance is accepted for most acne medications if you choose the retail pharmacy (e.g. Walgreens, CVS, Costco) option to receive your prescription.
  • Is the $49.99 fee covered by insurance?
    We are a self-pay service and do not accept insurance at this time. We do accept HSA or FSA.
  • What payment methods do you accept?
    We currently accept major credit cards, HSA/FSA (Health Savings Accounts/Flexible Spending Accounts), and ACH (Bank Transfer) for online visits.
  • What conditions do you treat?
    We treat acne, rosacea, eczema, hyperpigmentation, and more.
  • How do online dermatology visits work?
    You complete an online questionnaire, and our dermatology provider reviews it to create a personalized treatment plan for you.
  • Is a video call required for a consultation?
    No, you only need to complete the online questionnaire to receive your treatment plan.
  • Who is my provider?
