Do you offer refunds?

Once services are rendered, payment is non-refundable.

We offer risk-free visits! If the healthcare provider determines that you need to be seen in person for your visit or cannot assist you, you will not be charged for the visit.

How much does it cost?

An online visit (intake questionnaire) costs only $49.99

Prescriptions costs are separate:

  • Mix Pharmacy - Price varies ($55 - $100)

Who is reviewing my questionnaire?

A Board-Certified Physician Assistant that is experienced in Dermatology will review your intake questionnaire.

Physician Assistants are licensed medical clinicians who hold an advanced degree and provide direct patient care. They diagnose and treat patients of all ages in virtually all specialties. With an increasing shortage of healthcare workers, PAs are a critical part in increasing access to quality healthcare. 

Can I use insurance?

Minn Skin services are cash-pay only, accepting debit/credit cards, ACH (direct bank transfer), and HSA (Health Savings Account)/FSA (Flexible Spending Accounts)

You can use insurance for payment of your medical prescriptions at your pharmacy.

 

**Keep in mind that compounded and cosmetic prescriptions are not covered by insurance.

What is a compounded prescription?

A compounded prescription is medication that is custom-made by a pharmacist to meet the specific needs of an individual. It involves mixing, combining, or altering ingredients to create a unique formulation.

Where are my compounded prescriptions sent?

Compounded prescriptions will be sent to either SKNV or Mix Pharmacy. Once they receive the order, they will contact you about payment and shipping address.

Do you see pediatric patients?

Yes, certain conditions are eligible for pediatric patients, with different minimum age requirements to ensure safety due to the limitation of physical examinations that comes with telehealth

Do I need to follow up for prescription refills?

Yes, you will need to follow up every 6 months to continue refills.

 

Every 6 months, you will complete a quick follow-up questionnaire for only $49.99 through the patient portal.

Of course you can still message the provider anytime at no cost with questions on the patient portal.

How long does it take to get a treatment plan?

On average, you should receive your treatment plan within 2 hours of submitting your intake questionnaire. Forms completed during the evening, night, weekends, or holidays may be completed next day.

What questions are asked in the intake questionnaire form?

  • Patient information

  • Medical history, medications, and allergies

  • Symptoms

  • Medication preferences

  • Preferred pharmacy

Will the visit be over video or phone?

No, you simply complete a questionnaire with your symptoms, medications, allergies, and other relevant information for your diagnosis.

Minn Skin uses asynchronous (store-and-forward) type of telehealth for diagnosis and treatment of skin conditions.

How can I contact my Minn Skin provider?

Register and login to the patient portal (click "Patient Portal" icon on upper right of the home page). You can privately and securely message your provider within the portal.
